Weather is the state of the atmosphere in a place and at a time. It depends on the temperature, precipitation and wind. Weather changes during the year because the Earth is moving around the Sun and that is why we have the different seasons.
Climate is the temperature and precipitation in a place over a long period of time. It can be:

• Mild: near the sea 
• Warmer: far from the Poles
• Colder: at high altitude
